“Just to let everyone know what great service we consistently receive from Penwell. Fairly recently we had a loose object strike us that took flight from a tractor-trailer we were passing on the Interstate. Very fortunately we were all just fine, but the level of damage to our vehicle was in excess of the vehicle’s value, so it was declared a total loss. At the outset, we advised Penwell of the incident, and Christy Spalding, Penwell’s Claims Manager held our hand thru the entire ordeal. She communicated with the insurer as needed, assisted us in achieving final claims resolution, and cheerfully advised us on and facilitated the steps needed to complete the claim. Sometimes, one gets what one pays for. My last insurance company, a famous national name, denied coverage on 2/3 of the roof from hail damage and had remote options for minor fender bender repair forcing me to travel a good distance. Penwell and Erie did not do that. Highly recommend them and have for our children and friends.”
