Friends,
Labor Day is an annual celebration of the social and economic achievements of American workers. Labor activists pushed for this federal holiday to recognize those who worked hard contributing to America’s strength, prosperity and well-being as found on the Department of Labor Website (www.dol.gov).
I feel we need to take a moment and appreciate workers on many levels; those that continue to work hard, struggle, face stress, or those that are working hard to find a better work-life balance, those who are actively looking for jobs or those who have stuck with their employers through tough times because they enjoy their management team and environment and those that spent years working harder than some will ever understand who finally have retired. We celebrate all who work hard and respect themselves, and others, enough to understand good work ethic. We care about people who appreciate what they do and strive to obtain superior results for the betterment of life, themselves, their product, or service. Celebrate your efforts and successes. Continue to be your best self and if you are an unpaid homemaker or caregiver, we celebrate you too!
To allow our team well deserved time for their contributions, we will be closing the office at 3:00 p.m. Friday and will reopen on Tuesday.
Wishing you a great September,
Heather Penwell
